BLACK TÚATH GLASS- TÚATH Dubh

The TÚATH (tu – ah) – from the old Irish for family or nation, is a crystal conical-shaped nosing and tasting glass for whiskey, it functions superbly by concentrating & capturing all the aromas and flavours that make Irish Whiskey unique.

Its slightly wider opening and flared top let more of the alcohol vapours flow out allowing you to nose the centre of the glass without alcohol burn, while still allowing the whiskey to express its hidden aromas and flavours.

The generosity of Irish spirit is reflected in the enhanced chamber capacity delivering a more generous drinking experience.

Its iconic short stem (inspired by Skellig Michael) provides a secure anchor for the thumb, allowing for swirling, viewing and nosing.

Another key design feature of the Túath® base is that it allows the glass to rest on its side which increases the surface area of the Whiskey enabling it to open up and breathe more quickly, similar to a decanter.

This premium glass is made from unleaded crystal and is dishwasher safe.

The new Túath Dubh was designed as an alternative to the standard Túath that can be used as a blind tasting glass and an all-arounder whiskey glass that is versatile and easy to keep clean. 

This Túath is finished in a stunning Matt Black and will make any spirit fan stand out from the crowd.
